Colorado Design welcomes their third NTMA Honor Award for the Adams County Human Resource Center project. A renovated industrial structure from the 1970s became the new home for county services. The tree pattern portrayed creatively in the terrazzo floor is a central element in executing the building design theme of “Orchards to Innovation.” The installation honors the historical significance of the site: former fruit orchards and a traditional place for community gatherings. The terrazzo design serves to indicate direction and flow of traffic through the large public area for over 500 daily visitors.
